Barnyards at Chesterstone Farm offers luxury, spacious self-catering accommodation just outside the village of Upper Largo, the gateway to the East Neuk of Fife.

Set at the foot of Largo Law, the eroded plug of an ancient volcano that rises sharply above the farmland, the house enjoys magnificent views across Largo Bay, Elie Point and beyond.

On a clear day, from the terrace, you can see the sweeping coastline across the Firth of Forth — from Edinburgh round to St Abbs Head.

It’s a wonderfully peaceful spot to relax and watch the world go by.

How To Find Barnyards

By Car: From the M90 take the A92, following the signs for Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy. At Redhouse Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto A921. At the roundabout take the first exit onto A915. At Durievale Roundabout take the 3rd exit to stay on the A915, following sign post for St. Andrews. Go straight through Leven and Lundin Links until you come to Upper Largo. Turn 2nd left in the village onto the A915 and continue through the village. About 100 metres further on you will see our entrance on the left. From Glasgow to the A915 Follow signs for Edinburgh A8/M8. At junction 2 follow signs for the Forth Road Bridge the follow the instructions above.

By Train: Take a train to Kirkcaldy or Markinch. From Edinburgh: Approx 45 minutes. From Aberdeen: Approx 2 hours From Dundee: 45 minutes.

By Bus: Edinburgh to Upper Largo X60, Glasgow to Upper Largo X27 to Kirkcaldy, then X60 to Upper Largo, Glasgow Airport to St. Andrews X24, St. Andrews to Upper Largo 97
